It is a mostly used and accepted black tea in Nepal. It is also sort of orthodox leaf tea. It is one of the finest black tea from Nepal, as it is cultivated in ilam, a high altitude region where 90 per cent of tea state of Nepal is located. It has three types of variety.

b. Second flush
c. Autumn flush
